Our plan currently for capturing media is to use a camera of one of our team members that can capture photo and video. It helps a lot to have team members that have strengths in that category because I believe this will be the most important part of the project. We plan on videoing inside and outside so finding good lighting and good audio will be the key. All the equipment we plan on using we are all familiar with and have good experience with. This helps to make the project run smoother when we aren’t having to learn how to use a piece of equipment. The steps we need to follow each team while gathering media are to make sure the lighting reflects what we are doing, make sure the audio is clear and concise and have a wide range of media so we have plenty of options to include in our final project.
This week for our group, we met in class to fill out a schedule and list of items and meeting dates for the rest of the semester. I, myself, came up with a couple different ideas for meals we will be making as well as the plan for making the food. We didn’t face any major challenges this week besides deciding on what meals we wanted to choose to make. We don’t meet to film for a couple of weeks so having a little time to think about what we are going to make will help. In the future, we may decide to change some of our meals to make it easier on the process but I like the ideas we currently have.
