A main part of our group succeeding in this project is being able to know that we can all express our ideas and communicate our concerns to the rest of the group. The more time I have spent with my group, the more I have been able to express my ideas because I know everyone much better in my group. We have been able to bounce ideas off of each other and criticize each others ideas in a respectful and light-hearted manner. A major reason why we can do this is because we are all very similar people and we have very similar styles of communication.
We had a few very good ideas for our project. The first idea is following the life of a Husker Vision student. Husker Vision controls the big boards at all the Nebraska athletic events and produces video content for the athletic department. The second idea was researching the Husker Cats organization, which controls the population of ferrel cats on the University of Nebraska Lincoln campus. The third idea was to do a project about one of our member Jacob’s talent for cooking. I contributed several ideas about events that we could follow a Husker Vision student at. A wrestling meet would be a good event to do because we would have a lot more lenience since it is not as high profile event as something like basketball.
